Server Information.
If you use one of our software products that utilizes QUIC.cloud services such as LSCache for WordPress, we may collect certain information concerning such software and concerning the server upon which the software operates. This includes information about the server upon which the software is installed, including (i) the public IP address, (ii) the operating system, (iii) the use of any virtualization technologies on such server, (iv) and other information about traffic to and from Customers’ websites (“Server Information”). Additionally, “Server Information” may also include information collected from you by QUIC.cloud in the event that you request technical support services including without limitation, IP addresses, usernames, and passwords necessary to log in to SSH, the root directory of the server upon which you installed the LiteSpeed software and any affected accounts including email accounts, control panel accounts, MySQL accounts, CMS accounts and other accounts. This information is used to maintain and improve the services we offer in accordance with our agreements.
Because QUIC.cloud CDN acts as a reverse proxy and optionally also as authoritative name servers when hosting with QUIC.cloud DNS, our IP addresses or domain names may show up in WHOIS and DNS records for websites using our services. When setting up and using QUIC.cloud DNS hosting your other DNS records will be collected which may include other public server IP addresses. Disclosure of Collected Information
Since QUIC.cloud was developed by LiteSpeed Technologies then Personal Information will continue to be shared with their employees and contractors as before until no longer needed but they will continue to adhere to this privacy policy in full.
QUIC.cloud will only disclose Personal Information to third parties if acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary, including but not limited to: (a) to resolve disputes, investigate problems, or comply with laws or regulations; (b) to enforce our Terms of Use or Service Agreement; (c) to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of our company or our users; or (d) in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or substantially all QUIC.cloud assets. Other than this limited activity, we do not share, sell, or rent any personal information to third parties.
You will receive notice in the form of modifications to this Policy when information about you might go to third parties other than as described in this Policy, and you always have the opportunity to contact us as set forth below if you do not wish your information to go to third parties.
Data Aggregation
QUIC.cloud may gather data about our Customers and their End Users. Any information that is not personally identifiable information may be shared with third parties.
International Information Transfers
QUIC.cloud is based in the USA and serves the global market. We store data on servers throughout the world. Providing the Service we do requires being able to transfer and/or access information in any location.
By using QUIC.cloud, providing your information to us, and/or accessing our Website, you are hereby agreeing to allow us to use and transfer your personal information.
Use of Cookies
“Cookies” are small pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer on behalf of a website that you have visited. Cookies may be used in order to complete transactions, and tell if a user is logged into our site. You can always choose not to accept cookies with the settings of your web browser, however, you may not be able to complete these transactions if you do not accept cookies.

We use reasonable security methods to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. While we try to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
QUIC.cloud uses industry-standard encryption to protect sensitive data.
In the event that QUIC.cloud becomes aware of a security breach, unauthorized disclosure or inadvertent disclosure concerning your information, you agree that QUIC.cloud may notify you of such an event using the Personal Information previously provided.
You are responsible for maintaining your account’s security.
GDPR Statement
QUIC.cloud values your users’ privacy. Although our software does not directly collect any personally identifiable information from visitors to your site, QUIC.cloud may still be considered a data processor, as user information may be temporarily cached and/or logged, as outlined in this document.
Servers
QUIC.cloud may record IP addresses as a part of normal logging. An access log and an error log may record visitor IP addresses and URLs visited. The logs are stored on the QUIC.cloud nodes and are not transferred to or accessed by QUIC.cloud employees in any way, except as necessary in providing routine technical support or systems maintenance. Such logs are removed periodically from the file system. The general location of an IP address may be used by QUIC.cloud Services to correspond to which node might be optimal for Customers or End Users.
Content Delivery Network Caching Services
QUIC.cloud CDN would potentially store a duplicate copy of every web page on display on your site. The pages are stored on the QUIC.cloud nodes where QUIC.cloud server software is installed and are not transferred to or accessed by QUIC.cloud employees in any way, except as necessary in providing routine technical support or systems maintenance. All cache files are temporary, and may easily be purged before their natural expiration, if necessary, via a Flush All CDN Cache command in the QUIC.cloud dashboard. It is up to individual site administrators to come up with their own cache expiration rules.
Other Site Optimization Services
In addition to caching, our WordPress plugin has features that optimize your site’s data externally, namely the Image Optimization, CSS Optimization, Low Quality Image Placeholder services. When optimization is requested for those services, images or CSS are transmitted to a remote QUIC.cloud server, processed, and then transmitted back for use on your site. QUIC.cloud keeps copies of those optimized images or CSS for 7 days (in case of network stability issues) and then permanently deletes them. Image previews, and URLs of recent image or CSS requests are available in the QUIC.cloud dashboard during the month in which they were requested and then are permanently deleted.
Similarly, the WordPress plugin has a Reporting feature whereby a site owner can transmit an environment report to our server so that we may better provide technical support.
None of these features collect any visitor data. Only server and site data are involved.
Support Services
Sometimes, when you request technical support, QUIC.cloud may ask for login credentials to various areas of your site. You may refuse to share such credentials, however refusal may impact QUIC.cloud’s ability to provide the requested support services.
Upon completion of a support ticket, QUIC.cloud immediately deletes all login credentials you may have shared.
Any user data encountered by QUIC.cloud is kept strictly confidential. We never provide your support ticket information to any third party without your explicit consent.
Registrar
ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) may require that we collect registrant data, for the purpose of domain name registration, when a registrant purchases a domain name from ICANN. We will obtain this data via the WHOIS protocol. In certain events, we will need to share this data with ICANN, their registry operators and other contractors that are relevant in providing our domain name services, as well as third parties in necessary circumstances. The data involved includes but is not limited to the domain, user’s name, contact information, and domain name server information.
Business Transactions
This policy may be transferred in the event of a merger, sale, change in ownership, or any reorganization of some or all of the business. This happened soon after the formation of QUIC Cloud Inc. and was transferred from LiteSpeed Technologies Inc.
